The 3rd Thursday of November is the American holiday of THANKSGIVING! Watch the video below:

1) What happened when the pilgrims arrived to the "new world"? (Pilgrims are people who move to a new land in search of freedom or better conditions.)

2) How did the Native Americans help the pilgrims?

3) Why did the pilgrims prepare a great feast? (A feast is a big dinner.)

4) What do Americans do to celebrate Thanksgiving Day?

5) What food do they eat?

6) What are you thankful for?

Make a Thanksgiving craft!

Step 1) On a piece of paper, trace your hand.

Step 2) Colour it however you like.

Step 3) Cut out the hand.

Step 4) On the reverse side, write some things which you are thankful for. "I'm thankful for..." :-)
